If you look carefully you can see an Integrated Tug Barge combo just off the Conanicut Island shoreline. I took this picture on Christmas day, 2008 after noticing on my AIS screen thatthe tug/barge combo was uncomfortably close to shore. They were anchored up between Gould and Conanicut Islands and started to drag in the gale-force winds of a winter storm. A smaller tug came down from Providence and helped the big fellow out, but not before I did some trespassing/picture taking. I called the towing company to se what had happened, but never received a call back. Shocking.
This Dockwise Yacht Transport ship was in Narragansett Bay to take boats to England for the America’s Cup Jubilee in 2005. I got a tour of the ship and took some shots from my boat. This was taken with my first digital camera, which always seemed to put a yellow tint in all my images.
