As an American you have the right to condemn or support the wars we’re currently fighting. What you don’t have the right, morally, to do, is ignore the sacrifices being made by those who fight those wars and their families.
Both Veteran’s Day and the Marine Corps’ birthday are coming up soon, and many people will pretend for a little while that they care. After reading this article, which was incredibly moving, I thought it would be appropriate to honor the fallen, and those who serve, without being told to do so.
