On the way from Tortola to Newport on the Gunboat 62 Tribe we stopped in Norfolk, where I got a chance to indulge in one of my favorite pastimes, shipspotting. Norfolk is a major US navy base, and I saw some pretty cool ships there. Above is the USS Porter (left) and the USS Monterey.

Last seen in Hawaii, where their service was shut down by public outcry the Superferries. they had to end up somewhere, but Norfolk?
