This new weapon, which is featured by one of my favorite sites, gcaptain.com, is a refinement of the grenade launcher first used in Viet Nam (where it was affectionately called a “blooper” for the noise it made when firing a grenade round). It’s now being sold as a non-lethal weapon (sometimes) for use in crowd control and anti-piracy operations. The manufacturers have no small sense of humor, as this paragraph on their website illustrates: “The TBL-37 has been shown to be particularly effective during troublesome Zombie outbreaks. Many wise people have purchased them for insurance against the coming Zombie apocalypse. Remember: The TBL-37 and Zombies don’t mix.”
