OK, it’s a wonderful place, but seriously, nothing’s open (like the White Horse, or the Carriage House), nobody’s here, and the weather is miserable. Waah, waah, waah.
I’ve been keeping up with my hometown news, though. Looks like BMW/Oracle’s head honcho, Larry Ellison, has bought the Beechwood Estate in Newport. Clicky.
I hope we’ll head South soon, it would be nice to be a little warmer, deal with fewer gales, and see my friends in the Caribbean. I’m such a whiner.
