Interesting Stuff We Saw

DSC02063A C-2A, which is a supply and personnel aircraft working from aircraft carriers, takes off from  Naval Air Station North Island. This particular aircraft is from the Sundowners, which operate from the CVN Carl Vinson. It flew over us as we were leaving from our 4-hour visit to get fuel in San Diego.

DSC02069After a long delivery, what I need is a few beers. Thank goodness our skipper, Andrew Burton and fellow crewmember Larry Reagan, are of the same mind. The image above shows the aftermath of our midnight arrival at Marina del Rey. Beer good.

DSC02087We watched this Grey Heron watching itself in a boat’s window for hours. “Who is this beautiful bird?” “Am I not spectacular?” Damn, I’m good looking.” “Kiss me, you fool.”
