We got one race off yesterday in light air after a four-hour postponement. It was a better day for us, we had plenty of boatspeed and were pointed in the right direction. We finished sixth overall, a boatlength behind the regatta leader, Flying Jenny, so we know we’ve got the wheels.
We actually even saw the sun for a while yesterday, but woke up this morning to see another gray, cloudy, foggy day. There’s a good chance for strong thunderstorms, with hail this afternoon. A great way to end a great regatta bedeviled by bad weather. Summer? Ha!
