Sheila Ann is a 738-foot, self-unloading bulker with a gross tonnage of 41,428 tons. She’s registered in the Bahamas and was built in 1999. We see her a lot in Narragansett Bay, especially in the Jamestown Anchorage, where she discharges coal into barges for the filthy, disgusting coal-fired power plants at the head of the Bay. Alongside her is the 114-foot tug, 4,700 hp, twin-screw, Jean Turecamo, which was built in 1975, and a coal barge.
